Below is a picture of Cape Disappointment Light House, a short hike from Cape Disappointment State park. The hike features a well kept narrow trail winding through the hills near the coast to the lighthouse. There is a great view of the ocean from the lighthouse, and vacation homes available for rental nearby. I liked how this trail was so natural and filled with wildlife, from birds to newts on the ground. It's definitley a place to visit here in Washington.

Below is another photo from a hike in Washington State. This was a flat hike near and alongside a beach. We didn't end up making it all the way because the trail was covered in water and was impassable. Still lots of fun though!
